We had a great experience fishing for salmon with Regan at RUMBLE BEACH FISHING CHARTERS.
Regan has lots of experience as a charter guide and is a very fun and interesting person to talk to.
I highly recommend him for a good time fishing and incredible time out on the water.

Lots of Sea Otters!

We booked an EcoTour with Regan to get a chance to see and photograph Sea Otters, Eagles and beautiful scenery. We were not disappointed! We saw dozens of Sea Otters including pups taking a ride on their mother's belly. We also saw Eagles taking fish. Amazing experience! Thanks Regan!

Went out with Regan on Thursday with my wife and son. What an amazing day for us. Regan was a fantastic guide and we ended our day with 5 coho a spring and some prawns. We will definitely be back.

We have had the pleasure of going out fishing with Regan three times over the last six years. It has been fabulous every time! Regan knows where the fish seem to be and we always come home with a freezer full! Regan is full of knowledge and has a great sense of humour. Best fishing in Port Alice!!

We went with Reagan for 10 hrs today and he was the best guide! He didn’t rush us, he was very knowledgeable and patient, and he was a very good fisherman. I had always dreamed of catching a halibut, and Reagan made it happen. He taught us about the fish, sea otters, bald eagles, and orcas! He even cleaned and filleted the fish that we caught. I highly recommend this while you are in Port Alice!

In September of 2017 Jen and I booked a trip with Regan for the day. The rains were just starting to move into the area but we had our fingers crossed that the weather would hold for us. We were excited to get out on the water and see if we could land Jen a salmon as this was her first time out.

Well, when we woke up on the morning we were supposed to go it was pouring rain!! Regan came out to our campsite in town and we talked about if we should go or not, and we were thinking this day may be shot!! An hour later that morning we met Regan at the boat launch and made the decision to go with the mind set of "it looks like we are going to get wet"!! Well, Regan sped us out to our spot and and as soon as we got there the skys opened up, and the sun came out!!

Jen and I both limited out on Coho, 2 of which were 16 pounders that both tore line out of the reels!!

We got to see sea otters and a few hump backs in the distance, and I've never seen Jens face so in love with the scenery and experience of being on the water.

Regan was a great guide, he was easy to talk to and made the trip totally enjoyable. Thanks for a wonerful memory Rumble beach fishing charters, you guys gave us a day to remember!!

Regan is one of the finest guides I have met whilst travelling/fishing.
From a decent safety briefing for all boarding, through to knowing his grounds for fishing, his experience of 40 plus years shows. Poor weather did not deter us form catching some nice fish.

There is an immediate sense of professionalism when you get on board Regan’s 20ft. Trophy for a fishing/site seeing trip. All the safety protocols and equipment locations are made clear. He is a very personable operator with a warm sense of humor and a wealth of knowledge about fishing, natural life and the history of the area. Everything is well organized even during the dramatic moments of landing a fish. My wife and I limited out in a couple of hours and then enjoyed the rest of our time watching sea otters, a humpback whale and countless species of birds. This trip would have been a huge success even without the fish! Fantastic scenery everywhere, we spent a good deal of time right near the filming sites of the History channel’s TV show “Alone.” Lots of wonderful memories and photos.
